Chase Chrisley Misses Dad In Jail

This January, Todd and Julie Chrisley reported to prison, where they are set to spend a combined 19 years in jail for fraud-related crimes.
It’s been months since the reality TV couple checked into jail, and Chase is already missing his father.

Todd Chrisley is currently completing his 12-year sentence for fraud-related crimes at a prison in Florida. While Chase is the sibling that didn’t have much to say about the legal issue surrounding their parents, he did share that he would miss not seeing them any time he wishes even before they checked into prison.

“It took me a few minutes to realize we were no longer talking about dinner,” the story Chase shared at the time read in part. “It was about going out of your way to do something for someone you love because at any moment, they could unexpectedly be taken from you.”

On Thursday, the star of “Growing Up Chrisley” posted a throwback pic of him, his dad, and one of his sisters on Instagram, captioning it: “Missin ya pops,” Chase, 26, captioned the shot.

At the moment, Todd and Julie, 50, are appealing their sentencing in November for fraud-related activities. As their appeal process continues, Todd is spending the next 12 years at Florida’s Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. Julie is completing her seven-year sentence at FMC Lexington, Kentucky.

Even though Chase insisted that he owes no one an explanation, he did update fans on the family’s situation following his parents’ sentencing. He wrote: “Obviously, what we have been going through is hell. It is a terrible, terrible situation. But I have to try and find the good, even in the darkest time.”

Continuing on, he said, “I feel like throughout everything that we have been going through, it has made me appreciate things I did not appreciate as much in the past. It’s made me do a lot of reflecting and just kind of figuring out who I am now as a man and who I wanna be in 10 years, and then 10 years from there and 10 years from there.”
