Chrisley Knows Best alums, Chase Chrisley, and his sister Savannah Chrisley chatted together on her Unlocked podcast recently. Fans already know that his dad, Todd, said his son was in a better place with his sobriety. But, read on to find out how he’s doing now.
Sobriety After Arrest
The Chrisley siblings focused on sobriety, and fans first became aware of it when he was allegedly charged and held for a while after behaving belligerently in a bar/restaurant last year. Well, he’s been fighting this alcohol addiction like a champ!

The thing is, drinking, as Chase discovered, doesn’t just affect him. In fact, it can affect everyone in the family. So he explained that one motivating factor to stay sober is to protect his family, and to try and deal with his own well-being.
A Very Serious Addiction
Actually, Savannah told Chase Chrisley that his addiction was so bad, that at one stage, she feared that he could die young. Well, Chase Chrisley agreed that, looking back, he hadn’t realized the severity of his dependency.
So far, it’s a huge victory, and Chase Chrisley confirmed that he’s nearly six months sober now. He and his sister also spoke about how the more he drank, the more reckless he became. Of course, Chrisley Knows Best fans know that it couldn’t have been an easy time for him with Todd and Julie imprisoned on tax and fraud related offenses.
Candid About Support
Actually, the entire conversation seemed very candid, and the two siblings talked about how therapy is so important. Plus, it can be possible to love someone even while they face their demons. So, that highlights how important it is to stay supportive. But for Savannah, it took some effort to set up boundaries.
After he got bad, and “hit rock bottom,” Chase sought some proper help and took himself off to rehab. Nowadays he’s busy trying to rebuild his life, and to regain the trust of his family. He’s young, so hopefully, he stays with his new pathway.
