Chrisley Knows Best – Debuts Season 10 Amid Stars’ Prison Sentence
News that Chrisley Knows Best got cancelled quickly spread. But not all viewers knew that the network planned to air the episodes filmed before stars Julie and Todd Chrisley headed to prison. However, fans who did watch the season 10 premiere of Chrisley Knows Best noted the tension between the matriarch, 50, and patriarch, 53, noted Us magazine.
And Chrisley Knows Best producers focused on the clash between Todd and Julie as they moved into a new house. For instance, Julie complained about repeatedly moving in one of her confessionals. “Being married to Todd means you’re never going to call a place home for very long,” shared Todd’s wife. And she revealed that making their third move in 12 months kept her feeling “stressed and unsettled.”
However, the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch promised Julie that the new home would make life easier. And as she told the cameras, “The only reason I agreed to move into this new house is because it was turn-key. I’m just excited to move in, unpack, and be done.” But Todd didn’t even reveal one key secret to Julie before ripping apart their new home.

Lied!
But Todd claimed that he needed to tear apart their new home. And when Julie asked why he did so before warning her, the former real estate king tried to compare it to plastic surgery. “Julie, listen, it’s like if you go have your eyes done, then you realize you need to have your neck done. And then you need to have an upper lift and a lower lift,” he explained.
However, the Chrisley Knows Best matriarch vented her frustration in response. And she demanded to know why Todd failed to tell her the whole truth. But her hubby couldn’t come up with a response.
“Why did you lie to me?” asked Julie. But Todd just requested that she pose “a question that’s a little easier.” However, his wife didn’t see any humor in the situation. And she made her anger and frustration clear.
Chrisley Knows Best – Avoids Prison Sentence: Why?!
The couple, who share kids Chase, Savannah, Grayson and Chloe, received guilty verdicts on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. They will spend a combined 19 years behind bars. But the premiere of Chrisley Knows Best season 10 did not mention the prison sentence.
Ironically, Julie did make a wish for life to change and become stable prior to learning how long she would spend in prison. And she vented to the TV cameras, “I’m just done with it.” Because of their youngest children, the Chrisley Knows Best matriarch wanted life to stop changing.
“I’m over it. I feel like we are at a stage of our life where we need to find where we’re going to settle,” summed up Julie. And she referred to her youngest son, Grayson. “I want Grayson to be settled the last few years he’s at home before he goes to college,” added Julie.
However, she also expressed concern for the couple’s youngest, Chloe. At nine, Chloe “likes stability. Not doing a house and selling it and moving to another one and selling it. I’m just tired of that. And not to mention, you lied to me, Todd,” slammed Julie.
Tell us what you think. Do you feel that the USA Network series producers should include Todd and Julie’s recent legal problems in the show? And after you share your views, check back on our site for more reality TV news.
I think it must be nice to move into a brand new home. These people have no idea on what reality is what it’s even like to be poor. I love watching the show because I can’t imagine such a life. It’s totally insane how these people act.
I love watching the show, but her recently it shows us how ungrateful they are for what they do have. With all this moving in the show it seems they want to show off what they can do because they do have money. They should be thankful for god have given them, good health, good children, which they have shown what kids really do go through growing up, especially with Kyle and Lindsey, so they should include the trouble Todd and Julie have or in trouble for it shows that they too are human.
