Savannah Chrisley – Says Brother Is the Reason She Had A Prior Rift With Emmy Medders

On Oct. 5, Chase Chrisley, 26, proposed to his on-again off-again girlfriend Emmy Medders at First Horizon Baseball Stadium in Tennessee.

In a recent interview, Medders revealed that her relationship with the “Chrisley Knows Best” star was “rocky” and sometimes it led them to spend time apart.

Medders met up with her future sister-in-law Savannah on her “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” to talk about joining the Chrisley family soon.

During their chat, Medders readily acknowledged that the road to their engagement was not all butter – it had its share of “ups and downs” including “one major breakup” that saw them refuse to see or speak to each other for an extended period of time.

“We started talking right before COVID hit,” said Medders, 26. “It was on and off, and then we were doing really well, and then we did have one like major breakup where we didn’t talk for like — I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks.”

However, she added that “it felt like two months for me.”

Following the great breakup, things have been going smoothly between the two, and they’re now even looking forward to becoming closer in the future.

Savannah, 25, then acknowledged that her relationship with Medders can become strained sometimes.

To prevent any misinterpretation, Medders added: “There’s no hate at all. …. I mean, I know we’re not sisters yet, but family’s gonna get in arguments.”

At the end of the day, the two ladies decided to blame Chase as the reason they’re often at odds with each other.

“It had to do with Chase, y’all,” Savannah said.

Medders laughed in agreement: “He’s always in the middle of it!”
