Chrisley Family News- Savannah Chrisley Feels Guilty Of Moving On
Chrisley Family news reveals that, according to PEOPLE, the Growing up Chrisley alum also confesses having “a level of guilt” with “moving on” as Todd and Julie prepare to head to Florida to begin their sentences in federal prisons.
The 25-year-old former TLC personality has been caring for her younger brother Grayson, 16, and niece Chloe, 10, as her parents prepare to go behind bars for a lengthy amount of time (via TODAY).
Chrisley had already decided ahead of her parent’s prison sentences that she would take custody of her younger brother and niece and said as much in an episode of her podcast “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” just ahead of Todd and Julie’s sentencing.

In a more recent installment of her podcast, the reality TV star opened up about how she’s getting through the fallout from her parents’ legal troubles during a chat with brother Chase Chrisley’s fiancée Emmy Medders.

Savannah Chrisley – Discusses The Fallout
“Dad’s always been my go-to. That’s always been my steady. If I’m having a bad day, he knows. He’s just like, ‘What’s wrong? I know you’re struggling today,’” the Chrisley Knows Best veteran said. “We just have that relationship, and we talk about every single thing. That’s where I can go and just completely fall apart and him help me bring myself back up.”
She continued, explaining about her mom and dad, “it’s like grieving the loss of parents that are still alive, which is the hardest thing in the world.” She explained that she has “distanced [herself] to prepare for what’s coming.”
The Sassy by Savannah creator admitted that she finds it difficult to live a normal life while her parents face such tribulation. “The amount of people who will come at me for posting Sassy stuff. It’s like guys, I have a business I have to run.”
Savannah Chrisley – To Push Forward
Her future sister-in-law joined in, pointing out that Savannah can’t “stop [her] life” because of her parents’ legal situation. Savannah agreed. “I think that’s what I’m struggling with right now is business-wise, I keep pushing forward because that’s always been my easy, go-to to where I don’t have to focus on anything else,” she said.
“So business-wise, I’m going to push forward. I’m going to do my podcast, [my beauty brand] Sassy. I’m going to do all the things. But personally, I feel like there’s a level of guilt associated with moving on with my life and thinking of mom and dad not being here during certain life events.”
