Chrisley Family News – Todd Gears Up To Spill The Family Tea
Chrisley Family news reveals that, according to CNN, Todd Chrisley is heading off to federal prison in Florida soon but, before that, he’s agreed to let it all hang out for fans on Chrisley Confessions with his son Chase asking the questions.
Before Todd, 53, and his wife Julie Chrisley, 50, head to Florida on January 17, Todd will spill all the tea about his family’s legal drama in one final interview that will be hosted by his son, Chase Chrisley, 26 (via PEOPLE).
Chrisley Family News – Nothing Is Off Limits
“I am looking forward to that interview, not because it’s going to be a softball interview,” Todd told his son on the December 29 episode of his Chrisley Confessions podcast, “You have said, ‘Am I allowed to ask all of the hard questions?’ And I said, ‘You can ask me anything. I am your daddy.’”
Aside from answering questions asked by Chase, the Chrisley Family patriarch has agreed to take questions from fans. Todd assured everyone that “nothing is off-limits.”
“Other people that want to interview [me] might say, ‘I know this is probably an uncomfortable question,’” Todd opined. “No, we’re good with the truth. The truth is not uncomfortable for us.”
Chrisley Family News – Go To Jail, Go Directly To Jail
Todd and Julie were sentenced to 12 and seven years, respectively, in Florida federal prisons on November 21, 2021, after they were found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud in June of 2021.
Later this month, the pair will each report to a separate facility to begin serving their sentences, Tood will head to the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, and Julie will travel to the Federal Correctional Institution in Marianna, Florida just over a hundred miles from there.
Chase Chrisley – I Don’t Owe The Public
Chase has reportedly had some reservations about doing the interview as publicly discussing his family’s legal drama isn’t something he’s comfortable with. He told his sister Savannah Chrisley, 25, as much on her “Unlocked” podcast, saying, “I don’t owe the public an explanation.”
Chase, who got engaged to Emmy Medders in October, went on to add, “other than people that I care about and I love.”
Chrisley Trial – Marred By Serious Errors Says Attorney
After the Chrisley parents were sentenced, the family’s attorney, Alex Little of Burr & Forman LLP told E! News on November 22 that they will no doubt be appealing their convictions as they have maintained their innocence since the very beginning.
“Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid,” his statement read. “Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the road ahead.”
