The fourth child of the “Counting On” reality show family Jill Duggar Dillard plans to leave no stone unturned. She’s letting the proverbial cat out of the bag so that the world will come to know all the “secrets, manipulation, and intimidation” that went on in their family both onscreen and behind the screen.
Just like her kid sister Jinger Duggar did in her tell-all memoir “Becoming Free Indeed: My Story of Disentangling Faith from Fear” where she detailed the occultic teaching that was instilled in them in Institute in Basic Life Principles, Jill is detailing everything about her family in her upcoming memoir “Counting The Cost.”
Jill Duggar — “The Unedited Truth About The Duggars”
The description given on publisher Simon & Schuster’s website about the memoir reads: “For the first time, discover the unedited truth about the Duggars, the traditional Christian family that captivated the nation on TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting.”
The description continued, “Jill Duggar and her husband Derick are finally ready to share their story, revealing the secrets, manipulation, and intimidation behind the show that remained hidden from their fans.”
It went on to describe the now 32-year-old as the daughter who was “always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.”
The tease acknowledged that Jill was obedient and adhered to the family’s rules and regulations set by her father. “She didn’t protest the strict model of patriarchy that her family followed.”
It went on to list some of the strict rules “Which declares that men are superior, that women are expected to be wives and mothers and are discouraged from attaining a higher education, and that parental authority over their children continues well into adulthood, even once they are married.”
Jill Duggar — Parenthood Opened Jill’s Eyes
While Jill kept on being a good girl to her parents and family, everything changed after she got married to her ever-supporting husband Derick Dillard in 2014. Gradually, the wool began pulling away from her eyes.
After becoming parents to three adorable kids, the couple decided that enough was indeed enough, and took charge of their lives. They’re also done hiding every atrocity committed by their parents all in the name of Christianity.
The description said that the couple are, “Done with the secrets,” so, “Thanks to time, tears, therapy, and blessings from God, they have the strength to share their journey. Theirs is a remarkable story of the power of the truth and is a moving example of how to find healing through honesty.”
“Counting The Cost” is scheduled to release on September 12, 2023.
