When the listing of the mansion arrived, Sister Wives fans heard that they wanted $1.65 million for it. Originally, they paid less than $900K for it. At the time, a lot of TLC viewers hoped that some of the money would help pay back Janelle and Meri Brown for their contributions to the family. 

The rumors that Robyn and Kody Brown might not downsize, and bought a $4 million home arrived on Reddit. At the time, a lot of TLC fans hoped that the story was true so they could snark about the couple. However, Soap Opera Spy reported that some people felt it was unlikely. Mainly, because the OP mistook a horse trailer for an RV where Dayton might stay. 

Sister Wives Rumor About Robyn Brown’s Home Debunked?

The new home was massive and made the McMansion owned by the Sister Wives couple look unimpressive. Some TLC fans, with an understanding of the property market, decided that there was no way Kody and his last remaining wife could afford the $4 million home. Well, it seems they were right.

This week, InTouch Weekly did some digging into the rumor about Kody Brown and Robyn. They checked out the records available online. According to feedback from the outlet:

…the claim is not true. Though the house was sold last month, it was sold to a family trust unrelated to the Browns.

Additionally, the outlet confirmed that the TLC family still owes money on the Coyote Pass properties. There were not many responses to the news on social media, because the report is still very new. However, one person commented, “I hope the other women take them to court.”

Janelle Brown Purchased Land In North Carolina

Recently, Janelle, who seemed financially hard up after she left Kody, purchased some land in North Carolina. There, she started a flower farm called TAEDA Farms. It’s not clear where the money came from for that. For now, Sister Wives fans can only hope that somehow, she got some money out of her ex-husband and his last wife.
