Erika Jayne Shades Garcelle Beauvais For Leaving RHOBH

Erika Jayne Shades Garcelle Beauvais For Leaving RHOBHWhen news broke that Garcelle Beauvais was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her castmates Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John had an intriguing response—or lack thereof. Their reaction, or more accurately their shared silence, spoke louder than words when Andy Cohen brought up Garcelle’s departure on Watch What Happens Live.

Erika and Bozoma were on the show the same day Garcelle made her announcement, and Andy wasted no time asking for their thoughts. Instead of jumping in with opinions, the two women simply exchanged knowing glances, prompting Andy to press them.

“Ladies? You have no thoughts on it? Neither of you?” he asked, visibly surprised by their silence.

After a few awkward moments and some exchanged whispers, Bozoma finally responded. “I am disappointed that she is departing,” she admitted. “I wish she would have stuck around to work out another season.”

Erika Jayne Wasn’t Surprised

Erika, on the other hand, wasn’t at all shocked. She recalled how Garcelle had stormed off the set during the Season 14 reunion and refused to return for the cast photo.

“That is a clear indication that she was leaving,” Erika insisted, adding that the cast had actually known about Garcelle’s exit two weeks before it was made public.

Andy, however, seemed surprised. “I didn’t know that she quit,” he confessed. “When she left the reunion, I wasn’t totally sure. She and I had a conversation here last week.”

Garcelle officially confirmed her departure on social media earlier that day, explaining that she wanted to focus more on her family. But fans got a glimpse of the tensions that led to her exit when Bravo released the Season 14 reunion trailer shortly after.

The Breaking Point at the Reunion

The footage showed a dramatic confrontation where Erika dismissed Garcelle as “not interesting,” and Dorit Kemsley confronted her over previous comments about her 2021 home robbery. The conflict escalated, and Garcelle reached her breaking point.

“I am just so f*cking sick of it,” she said, storming off. “I can’t be friends with people like that, I don’t trust them. They’re all fcking *ssholes.”

Bozoma later reflected on that moment, stating, “I don’t think it’s a high note.”

Despite her earlier shade, Erika ended the segment with a more sincere remark. “Garcelle, I just really wish you stuck it out. I just really do,” she said. “I know that I’ve been catty tonight. I know you’ll do well, but I just wish you stuck it out.”

With Garcelle’s departure, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is set for a shake-up. Fans can only wait and see how the show evolves without one of its most outspoken cast members. RHOBH is currently streaming on Peacock.
