Chrisley Knows Best Spoilers – Dangling The Carrot
It almost looked like a big win for Julie Chrisley earlier in the year when a judge seemed to think that the evidence of her involvement in the crime wasn’t showing a strong timeline, but federal prosecutors weren’t buying that. They want her re-sentenced to seven years in prison, according to court records obtained by WSB-TV Atlanta.
They want her to have the same sentence she already had, which makes the re-sentencing rather redundant. “For re-sentencing purposes the government does not intend to introduce new or additional evidence on when Julie joined the bank fraud conspiracy. Instead, the government will proceed on an actual loss amount of $4.7 million – the actual loss incurred after Julie’s real estate company, received it’s first fraudulent loan on July 11th, 2007.” the federal government stated.
The feds went on to say that, “At the first sentencing the government recommended a within-guidelines sentence: at resentencing the government will urge the Court to do the same, namely to re-impose the same 84-month sentence, which is within the new guidelines range.”
Spoilers For Chrisley Knows Best – The Price Of Celebrating Too Early
You know what they say about not counting your chickens before they hatch, right? Julie’s lawyers expected that she would get a ton of time taken off of her sentence, and at one point even predicted that she would be home by next Summer, but now it looks like that is a far off pipe dream of a possibility.
The feds are really serious when it comes to bank fraud scams and this is no joke, it’s not going to be a cakewalk for the reality TV star at all.
Imagine going from have a million dollar empire and a successful TV show and career and then being sentenced to federal prison, three squares and a cot. Doesn’t warrant thinking about, does it?
Either way, the judge is set to decide her fate now. Be sure and check back here for all the news and drama concerning the Chrisley Knows Best case as well as tea on your other favorite reality series! Stay tuned!!!
If Todd and Julie acted at all remorseful and humbled , they might see a different outcome. Savannah doesn’t help either. They are all acting like “poor me”. They done have down pillows and million thread count sheets., no hair dye, it’s too hot..no AC etc ..
Now Julie can’t phone in her trial date or wear her fancy clothes. Give me a break. They claim to be people if faith…however, greed..gluttony..and theft are far from what faith teaches.
