Bachelor Nation fans claim Gerry Turner only wanted fame. He didn’t join the Golden Bachelor to find love. Some noticed clues that suggest he’s enjoying his newfound fame. There has been speculation about what happened to his marriage to Theresa Nist.
They shocked Bachelor Nation when they announced their divorce. The couple were only married for three months. Yet, they claim that they’re still in love with one another. But they’re encouraging the other to find love again.
“Theresa and I had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we’ve looked closely at our situation — our living situation — and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Gerry Turner said in his statement.
The reason behind Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s split is that their long-distance marriage didn’t pan out. They almost settled on moving to South Carolina. However, Gerry was hesitant to leave his Indiana beach house. Theresa wanted to remain close to her family in New Jersey.

She must have seen the writing on the wall when Gerry refused to move in with her.”
