She updated her followers on Instagram Story, stating, “Over the last two years, I’ve uncovered a lot of corruption at FPC Pensacola and, honestly, throughout the entire Bureau of Prisons.” She emphasized that she has the documentation to back her claims.

“Today, it was announced that FPC Pensacola will be shutting down,” she added, “which is where my dad is currently incarcerated.”

Savannah revealed that she was informed the facility is expected to shut down in the next six to nine months. While this news is somewhat positive, the 27-year-old admitted to feeling “mixed emotions” about the situation.

She expressed concern that the closure allows the Bureau of Prisons to evade responsibility and fail to hold “these abusers accountable.”

Nevertheless, Savannah is collaborating with several senators who are eager to review the evidence of abuse she uncovered at the facility, indicating that the fight is far from over.

Savannah expressed her uncertainty, saying, “I have no idea where my dad might end up; let’s just hope and pray he returns home.”

The Associated Press corroborated Savannah’s concerns in a recent article, highlighting that the US government is shutting down multiple facilities “after years of neglect and deterioration.”

The report indicated that the Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to close the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, along with several other minimum-security prison camps.

They are located in West Virginia, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Florida, which will also be “deactivated.”
