Hannah Brown & Adam Woolard Are In Couples Therapy

Bachelorette Hannah Brown Fiance Adam Woolard

Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown and Adam Woolard took their relationship next level by buying a home together, but they faced some problems communicating. So, Adam told his followers on social media that they started “couples therapy.” One thing they do these days “has been really game-changing,” he said on February 25.

Attending Couples Therapy

Hannah’s not the first ABC star to attend therapy, and Charity Lawson comes to mind. She and Dotun Olubeko started couples therapy when she participated in Dancing with the Stars. Adam Woolard said in his Instagram reel, “It’s a way of opening the lines of communication,” because they “struggled” with that early on in their relationship.

“Something that we do now,” he added, “is our check-in every single night.”  Adam Woolard explained how he and Hannah Brown “will do high, a low, appreciation, and a reassurance.” While many Bachelorette fans enjoyed the idea of the relationship tip, not everyone was all that kind in the comments.

ABC Fans Think The Couple Is Strange?

Some people think that Hannah and Adam seem very strange because, in January 2025, she told her social media followers that they separated. It sounded bizarre to some of the followers because they bought the house but then decided to live separately. Apparently, God told the engaged couple to do it and sin no more.

Bachelorette fans also became concerned that Woolard and Brown might be part of a cult. Those suspicions arrived when Hannah said, “We are finishing strong with a full fast of no food for the next three days.” It came during her telling ABC fans about 14 days of fasting as they try and get closer to God.

Those in the know claimed that the couple attends a church that seems extreme to more conservative Christians.

Reactions To Couples Therapy

In the comments section of Adam Woolard’s post, one fan of Hannah Brown wrote, “I just want to say that I am continually impressed by the both of you…ur commitment is second to none… Just words of encouragement … I have no idea how you deal with all of the negativity on here.”

Critics abounded, and here are a few of those opinions:

  • You say you do this at night but I thought yall stopped living together until marriage?!
  • Is this the start of your Christian Marriage Influencer Grift Era?
  • Why are you guys living separately before the wedding? If you’ve lived together and already have had s*x, what’s the point?

Still, lots of people liked the idea, and some folks said they regularly do the affirmations and it helps them communicate. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below, and come back here often for all your Bachelorette cast news and updates.
