Is The Voice Ending After Season 25? What We Know!

There’s new speculation that The Voice could end after Season 25. The new season premiered on Monday, February 26 on NBC.

However, that hasn’t stopped the fans from talking about how “boring” the music competition has become. It’s become so repetitive that it might be past its prime. Keep on reading to learn more.

The Voice Season 25 Premieres

Earlier this week, The Voice Season 25 premiered. The first part kicked off with the start of the blind auditions. Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper returned. Country duo Dan + Shay became the first group to share a red swiveling chair.

They replaced Niall Horan, who was on the previous season. Fans have a feeling this will be Reba’s season. Most of them aren’t on board with having a duo in one of the chairs. Other fans snarked and asked who Dan + Shay was.

Season 25 of The Voice is now underway. The premiere quickly wrapped up on Monday night. However, the Blind Auditions aren’t over yet.

The coaches will have to pick 10 singers for their teams. At the time of this article, each of the coaches has three contestants, except for Chance the Rapper, who currently has four.

Once the Blind Auditions conclude, each coach will take a pair of contestants from their teams into the Battle Rounds. Two are pitted against each other as they perform the same song.

The coaches will then have to pick a winner who will go on to the Knockouts. During the Knockouts, they will compete individually to win Season 25 of The Voice.

Is The NBC Show Headed For Cancellation?

The Voice fans weren’t amused with the Season 25 premiere episode. Most of them took to social media to share their thoughts on the premiere. They noticed that the contestants either had a sob story or a country music song to sing.

“I’m thinking that #TheVoice has run its course. Are there any fun people in that audition? Everything is a sob story, and there is far more church talk than anything… Just boring. Same sh*t different half year,” one fan posted on X.

“I do like me some country music; but I love me some rock & roll even some pop. #TheVoice is too country this season!” another fan wrote.
