Jon Gosselin’s – TLC Salary Revealed

On Thursday, July 18appeared on The Domenik Nati Show. He candidly shared his experience on Jon & 8 Plus 8.

The father of eight admitted that he wasn’t financially savvy since he blew most of his money. Host Domenik Nati asked Jon how much money he made on the show.

“How much did I lose?” Jon joked before adding, “A lot.” Domenik looked at him with a shocked expression on his face. “I got sued. I got sued for quitting, so I lost a lot,” Jon shared.

Jon Gosselin revealed that he made “seven figures plus” from the series. He also shared that his eight children benefitted financially the most. Their income was placed into trusts.

“The kids really made out [well] though because everything was buried in trusts for them,” he explained. “The most I ever made in a month without advertising and endorsements – I actually made more money when I left the show. I had some months of $350,000. That’s gross [income] though. That’s after taxes, I had some big tax bills.”

Jon & Kate – Plus 8 Income

The money lasted only a short time. Jon Gosselin shared the details of when he left the show. His contract with TLC ended and he couldn’t promote the series anymore. Jon added that the network “stopped me from doing pretty much anything” related to the show.

“And I went back to IT working a normal job,” he shared.

The TLC series continued until its cancellation in 2017. It was rebooted and centered on Kate Gosselin, as she focused on being a single mother. Jon appeared on a rival program. TLC sued him for breaching the contract lawsuit they ended when he left the show.
