Kate Plus 8 alum Kate Gosselin is broke, again, according to sources, and now she might need to sell her amazing home in Troutman, North Carolina. Is it all the fault of Collin Gosselin that the doors to a new reality TV show have slammed shut? Read on to find out what’s going on with the former TLC star.
Kate Gosselin Desperate For A Show?
It’s not the first time that TLC fans heard the mom of eight kids crying about wanting a new reality show because she’s broke. In October last year, she apparently had no friends and felt bored and lonely. Her ex, Jon Gosselin said that she should get a job, After all, she started adult life as a nurse.
TLC fans mocked Kate Gosselin for not working. And, they heard that she relocated from Pennsylvania to Troutman in North Carolina. There, her new home hardly seemed like a broken bank account. InTouch Weekly reported that the Kate Plus 8 alum lived in a waterfront home with “four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a private pier and dock for a boat, a pool, a hot tub, and an extended garage.”
Selling The Home Because Of Collin Gosselin?
Collin Gosselin, the sextuplet who Kate sent to a mental health facility joined the military and it was his dream to be a Marine. However, he blamed his mom for him being booted out of BootCamp. Later, he claimed his mother used to zip-tie him on a bed and leave him locked up in a basement.
Did the zip tie allegation end Kate Gosselin’s hunt for a reality TV show? Well, according to a source, she might believe that is what happened. This week, InTouch reported that an insider claimed:
She’s still trying to get a new reality show, but doors aren’t opening for her, especially now that she’s been painted a lunatic mom who zip-tied and locked her son in the basement room…No one would be surprised if she started begging for handouts.
Selling The North Carolina Home?
The source also claimed that the Kate Plus 8 alum might need to sell her North Carolina home. Good luck with that right now, despite Troutman not being hard hit by Hurricane Helene. Anyway, the informant said, “She doesn’t date or socialize with friends.”
Talking about Kate Gosselin nursing, they added, “[the job] that paid her a fraction of what she made on Kate Plus 8 didn’t pan out.” Additionally, as money is very tight, the former TLC star faces “the very real possibility of having to sell her house in North Carolina.”

Karma at its finest. She always was controlling and you could see the dead stare she gave when things were not going her way
As far as Kate Gosselin goes you get served what you deserve, Karma is a bitch!!
