Kate Gosselin’s Daughter Mady Claims Brother Collin ‘Physically Threatened’ Her

Kate Gosselin, Jon Gosselin, and their eight children once charmed viewers in their reality TV show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” And when Kate became single, TLC smoothly shifted to the spin-off, “Kate Plus 8.” However, now some of those eight children have shared shocking allegations about what happened behind closed doors.

Mady Gosselin Alleges Physical Threats

Collin Gosselin and his sister Hannah Gosselin currently live with their dad Jon Gosselin. And both siblings slammed the rest of the family in the Vice TV show, “Dark Side of the 2000s.” But in particular, Collin used the episode titled “Jon & Kate Plus 8: Family Circus” to accuse his mother Kate Gosselin of harming his relationships with his siblings. However, now Mady Gosselin has spoken out via People.

And Mady, 22, revealed that she has become estranged from her younger brother. As a result of his alleged physical threats, she shared that she made the decision to stop talking to him. “I never wanted to have to speak up about this in order to allow my brother the ability to live privately after the conclusion of our family’s TV show,” revealed Mady. “But I’ve been overwhelmed by hate messages in the last few days,” she added. “And I feel I must set the record straight.”

Referring to Collin, who is one of the six 19-year-old sextuplets, Mady shared that she does “not owe my allegiance to any person(s) who has physically threatened me and every member of my immediate family (some incidents as recent as last year). Further, I will never allow someone who has exhibited hateful and even violent behavior toward others based on their racial identity, gender identity, or religious beliefs to be in my life.” And the 22-year-old shared that she has developed her own strong moral code as an adult.

Collin Gosselin Claims Mom Kate Hurt His Relationship With Siblings

“Kindness, tolerance, love, and acceptance are core values in my life,” stated Mady. “And I refuse to compromise them for ANYONE, even my brother Collin, who has unfortunately made his opinions very clear in private.” As a result, she believes that she does not need to try to engage in any “further conversation about rebuilding relationships with anyone in my life after reaching the point of physical violence and hate speech.” 

But Mady declined to speculate about “why Collin has done these things.” And the Kate Plus 8 alum shared that she only wants to go on the record as saying that she “witnessed them.” As for her future, Mady asked for “peace and privacy (and no more hate mail) going forward.”

However, Collin claimed that their mother Kate Gosselin, “drove a barrier” between himself and his siblings. And he expressed a very different wish for the future. “I really, really hope one day that we can all reconnect and put the show behind us and just be siblings again, you know, and take back that time we didn’t have.”

And Collin’s sister Hannah supported her brother. “He would not get to come outside and play with us. He would eat dinner at different times than us,” she recalled. And the 19-year-old claimed that their mother didn’t try to “help him learn what behavior is acceptable and what behavior is not acceptable.”

But Collin and Hannah are the only Gosselin family members to participate in the Vice TV series. And the episode revealed that Kate and the rest of the sextuplets Aaden, Leah, Joel and Alexis did not want to make statements. However, the show also included Kate’s ex-husband Jon. And the 46-year-old shared that he has received “no access to the kids I’m estranged from. I have no idea why they stopped coming. I have no answers. Like, none. It’s the worst.”
