There’s been a lot of talk this year about Kody Brown’s finances and his reality TV paychecks. And, we can now confirm where a large portion of the money he made this season is going. Keep reading for all the details and new Sister Wives spoilers.
Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown And His Wives Managed Their Polygamous Family’s Finances.
Basically, there was one check for each TLC episode and all of that money was pooled together and used to pay everyone’s bills.
Now that the cast has all gone their separate ways, it stands to reason everyone is getting a separate Sister Wives check and now Kody Brown’s check is much smaller.
It’s unclear when Kody Brown received his check from TLC for Season 18 or how much it is for, but fans are convinced the funds just hit his bank account.

On December 11th, just a few days after the Sister Wives finale aired, Kody Brown filed for a residential permit to make some major renovations to Robyn Brown’s Flagstaff house.

According to In Touch, “The couple — who legally wed in December 2014 — seemingly plan on making some major changes as the permit allows homeowners to reroof, add yard lines and possibly demolish some parts of the home. In addition, the TLC personalities plan on making upgrades to the panels, water heater and mechanical equipment.”
Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Puts His Money In Robyn Brown’s House.
It sounds an awful lot like a teenager getting their first paycheck and running to the mall and blowing it in an hour.

Obviously it makes sense Kody would put his money in to Robyn’s household now. But, why are they remodeling a house that was just supposed to be temporary until Coyote Pass was done?
And, after all the whining the couple did about having young kids that still had to be put through college, aren’t there other things they should be saving their money for?
