‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Lawyer For Amy Slaton Dishes On Camel Bite

1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton was allegedly bitten by a camel before her arrest on suspicion of possessing hallucinogenic mushrooms and weed at a Tennessee Zoo this weekend. Now, her lawyer is talking about the alleged camel bite that happened at a zoo/safari park in Tennessee. 

1000-Lb Sisters Amy Slaton Was Allegedly Bitten

The news that the TLC star was bitten by a camel wasn’t the biggest of the day, but it did lead to her arrest. That is because the police who attended the camel bite alleged that a strong odor alerted them to the presence of drugs. So, as she had the kids, they arrested the 1000-Lb Sisters personality for drugs and threw in child endangerment charges.

After the news broke, an owner of the safari park denied that a camel bit the reality TV star. According to TMZ, he claimed that the bite didn’t look like a bite from that specific animal. Additionally, he alleged that there was no sign of a bite happening on the zoo’s cameras. Furthermore, he claimed that Amy Slaton was unable to show him where the incident took place. 

Lawyer Gives A Statement

Once again, it was TMZ who reported on a follow-up about the alleged camel bite. The lawyer didn’t give a long statement but preferred keeping it short and sweet. Contrary to the safari park’s owner, he told the outlet that Amy was “bitten by a camel at the zoo.” Additionally, he thanked Amy’s fans for their support on behalf of his client. 

Actually, many 1000-Lb Sisters fans don’t seem to care whether Amy Slaton was bitten by a camel or not. Instead. on social media, they feel that allegedly exposing the children to possible mushrooms and weed is far more serious. 

On Reddit, plenty of TLC fans slammed Tammy Slaton’s sister for poor parenting. Here are some of their comments:

• We all saw “child endangerment” charges in her future at some point, though, didn’t we?‍♀️ I just really hope for those baby boys that she gets control of her life.
• Yikes it sounds like the police were alerted to the drugs from the smell in the car — I really hope she wasn’t hot boxing her kids.
• Amy needs to get her act together and care about her children’s welfare. Get rid of the guy too. Focus on the children and her mental health. She’s trading an eating addiction for a drug problem. Stop it! I worry for those boys.
• This is such an incredibly bizarre story. I used to follow the Slaton sisters years and years ago and haven’t even thought about them since about 2018. Never did I ever think I’d end up seeing them on my feed again because one of them got bitten by a camel and ended up on drug charges.
