Lindsie Chrisley Changed Her Name – Critics React

Chrisley Knows Best alum Lindsie Chrisley changed her social media name to Lindsie Landsman, although she isn’t married to David Landsman. Apparently, she didn’t want to make a fuss, so she just quietly changed it. From social media, her followers know that she dates David but that’s not the reason why she dropped the Chrisley name.

A Change Of Name

US Weekly reported that fans noticed the change of her name on Instagram. And on the Southern Tea podcast, Lindsie Chrisley admitted that she didn’t realize her followers would notice that she’d become Landsman in such a quick time. So, she explained why.

You should know that she was estranged from her dad Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie long before they were imprisoned for alleged fraud and tax evasion. Now that they are out of prison, having been pardoned by Donald Trump, it seems that she wants to distance herself even more.

There’s bad blood between her and the rest of the family, especially Savannah Chrisley who outed her as an FBI informant. Other stories claimed that even Todd didn’t want Lindsie to visit him in prison.

Distancing Herself

While Todd and Julie, Grayson, and Savannah do the celebrity interview rounds after their release, Lindsie Chrisley can’t seem to distance herself quickly enough. In her podcast, she said, in part:

I did know when people eventually saw it, that it would raise questions, but how quickly people saw it was not something that I was necessarily prepared for…I do think it’s fair to say that, contrary to what some people believe, the Chrisley last name… did not create income or opportunity for me. In fact, it became very problematic with me being associated in any capacity in business.

Fans React To The Exlanation

Lots of people love the Chrisley family, but equally, lots of folks also dislike Todd’s oldest daughter who opted out of Chrisley Knows Best after a confrontation with Julie. So, not many folks cheered about the name-change on Reddit. Notably, she changed her name under her profile, but she didn’t change her handle name.

One critic wrote, “So she once again needed more attention because everyone but her is getting it and talking about them… Afraid to drop that handle though.”
