Lisa Rinna Blames Fans As Reason She Exited ‘RHOBH’ After Eight Seasons

Lisa Rinna Blames Fans As the Reason She Exited 'The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' After Eight Seasons‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ is having a major shakeup heading into its 15th season, and for series regular Lisa Rinna it’s a world she doesn’t want to inhabit anymore. And don’t think Bravo producers or her costars have anything to do with it.

Lisa Rinna Claims Fans Ran Her Off the Show By Villainizing Her

The money from ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ might be a sweet thing to earn, but these days, it doesn’t look so delectable to Rinna since fans are nearly always up in arms trying to tear down her reputation.

Despite being a fan favorite when she originally joined the show, things soured when it progressed, to the extent Rinna felt that fans were picking at every move she made.

“It got very difficult toward the end because of social media,” Rinna said in response to a question about how she reacts to fan backlash.

“In the beginning, we wrote blogs,” she shared with Jake Shane on the Therapuss podcast. “You would have to watch the show, and you’d write and blog about it. That’s a long time ago. Then it became social media, and everybody got really comfortable behind their computers saying anything.”

Whilst she’s butted heads with Cohen from time to time, she ultimately admitted that it was “the fans were the ones that ran me off that show. It wasn’t Bravo. It wasn’t the girls. It was the fan base… they villainized me in a way that I just didn’t want to live like that anymore. And that is the truth.”

“The fan base has to know that it’s because of them that I left the show, and that’s something that I don’t think they want to take responsibility for,” she said. “That’s the truth. I left because the fan base turned on me.”

She continued, “And listen, the fan base turns on everybody after a while. But this was a way that I was like, ‘Life’s too short, not doing to do this anymore. It was too much.’”

Rinna left ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ to focus on fashion and modeling, and she’s been doing great so far.

Apart from delving into the fashion world, she and her husband opened a podcast called Let’s Not Talk About the Husband, where, weirdly enough, they sometimes talk about the husband.

In a previous interview, Rinna revealed she received guidance from her late mother, who came to her in a dream and told her that it’s time to leave the show.
