Lisa Vanderpump Slammed For Cancel Culture Comment

Lisa Vanderpump came under fire recently for talking about “cancel culture” when the news arrived that Stassi Schroeder returns to the Pumpverse spinoffs. Bear in mind, that Bravo fans were already irritated to hear that Kristen Doute would be on The Valley.

Jax Taylor had an affair with Faith Stowers and Vanderpump Rules fans couldn’t understand why he wasn’t dumped by Brittany Cartwright immediately. Anyway, it was Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder who took the fall after they falsely accused Faith of committing crimes. It might have been a joke in bad taste for them, but they lost their jobs over it. 

Lisa Vanderpump has irons in many TV fires, and she recently employed Stassi Schroeder in Vanderpump Villa. Season 1 of the show was controversial when allegations of abuse arose over her manager, Eric Funderwhite. Well, if he was controversial, so is Bravo alum Stassi. 

Lisa Vanderpump Talks About Cancel Culture 

It’s been three years since the Bravo matriarch first defended Stassi Schroeder and Kriste Doute. She claimed that they were silly, but not racist. In fact, she seemed upset that cancel culture had gotten rid of her two cast members.

This week, @bravohousewives on Instagram shared a post, citing Lisa Vanderpump as saying, “The firing was an ‘overreaction’ and ‘a sign of the times’ and she’s ‘happy that cancel vulture is over.” Needless to say, not everyone agreed with her that the duo shouldn’t have been fired.

Vanderpump Rules and the various Pump spinoffs viewers had their say about Lisa Vandepump’s attitude. Here are some reactions:

• I personally think the firing was called for. She needed a wake up call and she got it loud and clear. I think it helped her grow and is a better person for it.
• That make[s] me wonder about Lisa. If you didn’t see what stassi did was wrong, that mean[s] u have a problem too. They torture Faith and it was right for her and Kristin to get fired.
• I liked stassi. But she got EXACTLY what she deserved and so did Kristen.
• Just unfollowed Lisa.
• I remember why Stassi was fired… they always want us just to forget about everything!!! It’s not that easy!!!
