Long Island Medium fans were very unhappy when TLC migrated the show with Theresa Caputo to discovery+. In fact, she’s very popular with those who feel spiritually inclined. However, they became upset all over again on the occasion of 9/11, when the show produced a special. Now fans feel saddened as she announced some very bad news this week.

Long Island Medium On discovery+

TLC didn’t just move Theresa’s show to the streaming network. These days, plenty of 90 Day Fiance spinoffs come over there as well. Currently, 90 Day: The Single life features. In the past, fans saw other shows in the franchise requiring a new subscription. So,  they felt hard done by and very irritated with the network. Well, no amount of griping will change the fact, that only those who can afford it can now see the medium contact the dead and share their messages with the living. People find it comforting to think that those who already departed watch over them.

Long Island Medium caused a bit of a furor back in September. Realityteevee reported that fans finally got to watch a segment on TLC itself. However, the contents upset fans. It featured Theresa Caputo calling up the dead who passed away in the 9/11 tragedy. Actually, a lot of fans sounded disgusted with the idea. Many of them took to the comments section of the Instagram advert and sounded off about it. Many of them felt it was disrespectful and they felt the show was trying to capitalize on the sad memorial day.

Long Island Medium – Sad News From Theresa Caputo

Although Theresa shared some sad news, she is, after all, a medium, so she claimed that she still sees “signs” from a friend and colleague who passed away. In her post,  she told fans that one of the crew members from the TLC team passed away. In her caption, she said, “RIP 💔 Doug. It was such [an] honor and privilege to have worked with you, my sound checks will never be the same!” Clearly, he worked as some sort of sound technician with the crew.

Theresa noted, “I can hear you saying “Were family T I love ya Miss Boss Lady see ya.” Forever in our hearts ♥️ thank you for the signs! 😇Until we meet again.”

Friends And Fans Comment On Doug’s Passing

Reports that not much was known about what Doug did behind the scenes on Long Island Medium. However, the outlet added, “Theresa’s post proved that the crew members were just as part of her family. It’s clear that he was just more than a co-worker. He was a big part of Theresa’s life.” Fans and friends reacted to the loss that Theresa Caputo feels. Bravo star, Kim Zolciak-Biermann wrote,Oh no 😢🙏🏼 sending you lots of love.” Plenty of other supportive comments arrived. One fan said, “Sorry to hear Theresa. He is talking to you right now 😇🙏❤️.”

I honestly don't know what to think. I have lived in many old houses. Part of one of them was so old they records couldn't give a specific date. In all these properties, many where I lived alone, I never once seen a ghost and I wouldn't want to. However despite my reservations I will share a true experience I had. I had a close relation die every year for 7 years. The last was a complete shock, a cousin who I was extremely close to. That Christmas I didn't want to go home and face all the loss. I sat on Christmas night and cried. Then I was surprised to hear a noise coming from my kitchen. The apartment was in darkness but strangely I wasn't afraid. In the kitchen a compilation CD had started to play a track "somebody loves you honey" it was an upbeat tune, something my cousin would have liked and I felt like it was a message. True experience, I wouldn't make something like that up and although it really happened I'm still a little unsure what to think.
