Mama June: Road To Redemption news has a debut date and it’s just around the corner: the WeTV series drops on March 19 with all new drama. June has successfully finished rehab but working things out with her kids could take a lot longer. Will they ever have trust in her again?

June was arrested in Alabama in 2019 for, “possession of drug paraphernalia.”

Alana “Honey Boo Boo“ Thompson has been greatly affected by her mom’s past behavior. In the explosive new trailer for Mama June: Road To Redemption fans will see her cry, “You don’t know how many nights I’ve cried myself to sleep.”

The teen is still emotional over what the family has gone through and she is afraid that her mom Mama June Shannon may not really be sober when she comes home from rehab. The preview reminds fans of June’s cocaine use and her subsequent absence in her daughters’ lives.

Mama June – Road To Redemption News – June Is Determined to Change

June knows that she has caused great emotional damage to her family. She says that she’s one-year sober: I’ve got to continuously show Pumpkin that I’ve changed.”

But Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon has doubts. Pumpkin is 21 and she had to take on the responsibility of caring for Alana when Mam went to rehab.

She feels like she’s “drowning” in all of the responsibility she has. According to her, “These last few years have been hell on our crazy family. In the video she then tells a crying June, “I don’t even know who my mother is anymore.”

In dramatic fashion the scene changes to one of June in the back of a police truck, then her mugshot. Pumpkin says, “finally got mama to go to rehab. But, was that really enough to get her life back together?”

The trailer shows June back from rehab and fans hear Pumpkin say, “She just wants us all to go back to the way things used to be,” and June says, “everybody deserves a second chance.”

“But, after destroying our family, we don’t know if we want her in our lives,” Pumpkin admits. Plus she now has her own problems to deal with, including her rocky marriage with Josh Efird.

Josh’s job has the two living separately, and Pumpkin is struggling to care for Alana, as well as Georgia’s daughter Ella Grace.
