Meri Brown Hints The End Of Sister Wives

Sister Wives fans are always prepared to see an official announcement from TLC cancelling the series.  Frankly, we’re all shocked that the Brown Family has navigated three divorces and still manages to film the reality TV series.  Although, things are definitely starting to get awkward.  Recently, ] got real about the future of the show.

Is Sister Wives On The Verge Of Cancellation?

Sister Wives premiered on TLC in 2010, that’s when we met Kody Brown and his wives Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn.

Technically, Robyn wasn’t his wife in the very beginning of the show, but that’s here nor there.  Somehow the polygamous family chugged along, and now has one of the longest running reality TV shows of all time.

New Sister Wives Episodes Coming

Despite navigating three divorces and losing one of their children to suicide, we know there’s at least one more season of Sister Wives in the pipeline at TLC.

Although, the network hasn’t confirmed the new season or given it an official premiere date.  Fan fave Christine Brown confirmed they had filmed new episodes after her wedding special aired, but we wouldn’t be seeing them until next year.

Meri Brown and her BFF Jenn Sullivan recently appeared on the Sarah Fraser Show, and Meri was not holding back.

It’s always refreshing to hear what Meri, Janelle, and Christine have to say during interviews now that they are no longer being coached by Kody.  It wasn’t long on the Podcast before talk turned to the future of Sister Wives, and all of those cancellation rumors.

Meri dished, “You know, it’s hard to say like, ‘Is it getting bigger? Is it on the downhill?’ I mean, we’ve been going for so long, and it’s not something that’s going to go forever. You know? It’s just not.”

Kody’s first wife added, “No show ever goes on forever. Right? But you can’t predict it either. You know? I don’t think that we ever would’ve thought that we would’ve gone this long. You know what I mean? And we have.”

It sounds like Meri Brown is just as surprised as fans are every time Sister Wives and renewed for another season.  We can all agree, Meri included, that the Brown Family reality show is living in borrowed time.  Do you think a Sister Wives cancellation will be here before we know it?
