Mind-Melted Sister Wives Fans Discuss Robyn’s Ex Related To Kody

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown picked up a lot of heat in Season 17 because Christine divorced Kody, and Robyn seemed very put out. That’s despite the fact that she was a divorcee. Talking about her ex, David Jessop, it turns out that he might actually be related to Kody. So, trying to figure it all out gave TLC fans some mind-melting moments.

Most viewers who follow the show have already heard that Christine Brown is related to Kody via their great-great-grandfathers. It’s a long and tangled weave in polygamous relations. After all, they are a relatively small community. So, it’s not unusual that sometimes distant cousins end up in a spiritual relationship. Anyway, Christine got out of it and her son, Paedon might break the cycle. 

Conversely, fans fear that Robyn Brown might keep the cycle going with Aurora and Breanna. In the meantime, it boggles the mind of fans that Janelle and Kody are technically siblings. Recall, her mom married Kody’s dad. And, it’s actually more confusing than that, but as we want to keep our minds intact, you can read all about it in a link under the photo in this article. For the purposes of this story, it all started with a discussion about how David Jessop looks so similar to Kody Brown.

Because of renewed interest in Robyn’s divorce, Screenrant cited some research done by Radar Online. Writer Christopher Davis did his own checking and wrote, “Fans discovered that David is related to Kody and Christine.”  Then he discovered an old conversation on Reddit about it. If you think you know the Brown family, it might astonish you how many people know a lot more. 

Sister Wives viewer u/throwawaybcimhalfgay started off the conversation about Kody and Robyn’s husband being related They wrote, “He is Kodys third cousin, and Christine’s firstcousin.(sic).” Further down in the comments, the same poster explained, “while Janelle was marrying her (ex) sister in laws husband (Janelle was married to Meris brother), Janelle’s mom was marrying Kody’s dad Win, and becoming sister wives with Kody’s mom, Genielle.”

More Brain Blowing Info

Sister Wives followers saw that the same poster also added, “So, Janelle went from Meris brother to her hubby, Janelle’s mom went to become sister wives with Kody’s mom, Christine married her third cousin, and later Robyn came into the family, who’s ex husband was Kody’s third cousin and Christine’s first cousin.” – u/november7890.

As further comments and info streamed in, TLC fans started to feel their brains wither. One of them said, “Help this hurts my little brain.” 

Another one claimed, “It’s too much like math. Math hurts my head.”

Similar comments arrived as others figured out that in a way, “Dayton, Breanna and Aurora are second cousins and step siblings with Christine’s kids.”
