My 600-Lb Life star Larry Myers Jr. died at age 49. Myers, who became known as “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits,” had enjoyed his 49th birthday celebration just a week before a cousin shared his death on Facebook. Larry’s appearance on “My 600-Lb Life” came during  season 10 of the reality TV show.

‘My 600-Lb Life’ Star Larry Myers Dies

Larry Myers, who starred on “My 600-Lb Life,” has passed away at 49. Myers became known as “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits” when a video of him crooning about a chicken cafe’s food went viral. On June 10, the “My 600-Lb Life” star enjoyed his 49th birthday. But one week later, Larry’s cousin Todd Darrell shared his death on Sunday, noted People.

And Darrell wrote on Facebook, “It’s with great sorrow that we announce the passing of my dear cousin Larry Myers. Many of you know him as Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits. If you can help us we would greatly appreciate it. Larry has fought the good fight. He has overcome some of the biggest Challenges he has ever had to face. Rest well Junior, you will be missed. Thanks and blessings to all. Please keep our family in your prayers.”

A report revealed that the “My 600-Lb Life” star died just three days after his 49th birthday on June 13. His cousin shared that Larry struggled with his weight. But Myers didn’t let his struggles affect what his family described as his love for everyone he knew. The aspiring gospel singer appeared on “My 600-Lb Life” during season 10 in January 2022.

‘My 600-Lb Life’ Star Had Become Bedridden At 940 Pounds

When Myers appeared on the reality TV show, he had become bedridden at 940 pounds. And he shared in the episode entitled “Larry’s Journey” that he began binge-eating over the death over his nephew and his mother. But the former reality TV star did try to improve his health. However, in an appearance on the Ricky Smiley Morning Show, Myers admitted that he became “depressed and fell back into his old ways.”

As a result, Larry gained back 200 pounds. However, before he died, Myers had shared Facebook pics showing him exercising and improving his food habits. And on Facebook, he shared a video with the comment, “The way I can move now God is a good God.”

In the wake of his death, Myers’ cousin shared a GoFundMe page with his Facebook message. The family sought donations to use for the former reality TV star’s funeral service. And his cousin wrote that Larry’s “struggle with weight gain/loss never dimmed his drive to show love and kindness to all he met. As a family, we want to bring our beloved Larry home one more time so we can lay him to rest with dignity and respect. The cost to do so is more than we can handle and we are asking for your help. Thank you in advance for your kindness and your support.”
