Two New Bachelor Nation Shows Added to 2024 Lineup

The news of the 2024 lineup shook up Bachelor Nation. The Golden Bachelor was such a hit that it led to the spinoff series The Golden Bachelorette, which will premiere this fall.

ABC also announced the renewal of The Bachelorette, which will air Season 21 in the summer.

That means one Bachelor Nation series is missing from the lineup: Bachelor In Paradise. The show typically airs during the summer or fall season. Bachelor Nation fans have a feeling that it got axed.

Ever since its debut in 2022, the success of The Bachelor has led to several spinoffs, including Bachelor Pad, The Bachelorette, Listen To Your Heart, and Winter Games.

Of course, it also spawned BIP. However, it was noticeably missing from the lineup. As you can see, most of these spinoffs were canned in recent years. It could suggest that ABC wants to go in a different direction.

Producers have teased that they want to expand the Golden Bachelor universe with other spinoff series.

Is There Trouble in Bachelor in Paradise?

Bachelor in Paradise debuted in 2014. It was a rebooted version of Bachelor Pad. Rejected contestants would stay at a beachside resort, where they would find love. They could also take part in fun, fights, and competitive games.

At the end of the season, the contestants would decide whether they wanted to get engaged, leave as a couple, or leave solo.

The show has helped some of the contestants find love, but not all of them are together. The news of Golden Bachelorette on the Fall 2024 schedule has Bachelor Nation buzzing. They fear that ABC quietly canceled BIP.

Bachelor Nation fans noticed another clue about the show’s rumored cancellation. One fan shared the theory on Reddit. “Normally after hot seats don’t they usually tease paradise by saying, ‘Catch so and so on the beach this summer!’ I fear it might be canceled,” they wrote.

Other Bachelor Nation fans agree that the show won’t see the light of day ever again. It could also be postponed for another season or another year. Producers revealed that the Mexican resort the contestants stay at is undergoing renovations.

I think they should have BIP to give the contestants a chance to find love. Maybe even a Golden bachelor in paradise.

I absolutely look forward to BIP every year and would be devastated if it were cancelled! It’s so popular! Let the Mexican resort do their remodeling and put BIP back on ASAP — please!!!

  • Perky

I won’t miss it at all. Too sleazy!

I love BIP so much! It really needs to be in the lineup! It’s one of my favorites. It’s the one I look most forward to & have for years!

BIP is my favorite one. You’re not seeing one person saying and making out with 20 men/women. Don’t get me wrong I love all the shows and look forward to each season. As far as Golden bachelor series a lot of people expected to see a forever relationship and just like any of the others real life happened. They may see ratings drop without BIP.

BIP is the best of all the Bachelor Nation shows. I look forward to it every year! The Golden Oldies are not entertaining and simply don’t belong in this genre of dating show. Their own style of dating show should be created that is more age appropriate. I am saddened that the best has been eliminated to make way for the worst.

BIP is the best! Would be very disappointed if it was cancelled.
