Proof A Real Housewives Of New York City Season 16 Cast Shakeup Is Coming

Proof A Real Housewives Of New York City Season 16 Cast Shakeup Is ComingBig changes are on the horizon for “The Real Housewives of New York City.” Racquel Chevremont, one of the newer additions to the Bravo franchise, recently provided some insight into the upcoming 16th season.

Speaking exclusively to E! News’ Francesca Amiker at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills on March 27, the art curator revealed that production may be resuming soon.

Season 16 Filming and Potential Cast Shakeups

“We’re all still waiting to find out what’s going to happen,” Racquel shared. “But I believe we’re going to start shooting again soon.”

Of course, the big question on fans’ minds is whether the entire cast from last season will return.

“I don’t think so,” Racquel admitted. “If I had to guess, I’d say probably not everyone.”

This leaves room for new faces, a prospect she seems eager about.

“Hell yeah!” she said enthusiastically when asked about potential new cast members. While she remained tight-lipped on specifics, she hinted that “maybe one or two” fresh personalities could be joining. With Rebecca Minkoff already confirmed as not returning, Racquel pointed out, “We definitely have one more spot open.”

Still, she has a few favorites she’d love to see back.

“I want all the women to return. I love them all,” she said. “We’re really good friends with Erin [Lichy], Gabe [Lichy], Sai [de Silva], and Jenna [Lyons], so I would love for them to return.”

Another hot topic is whether Ubah Hassan and Brynn Whitfield will come back after their intense fallout and unresolved reunion drama.

Racquel’s Wedding Plans and Her Adjusting to Reality TV Fame

Beyond the show, Racquel is busy planning a personal milestone—her wedding to fiancée Mel Corpus. Naturally, they’ve chosen New York City as their wedding location.

“I wanted to wear black,” Racquel revealed. “But my daughter was like, ‘Mom, seriously? No.’ So, still working on the colors.”

Adjusting to reality TV fame was a challenge, but she’s grown into it.

“There was definite trepidation,” she acknowledged. “I said ‘yes’ before watching the show, and the minute I watched it, I was like, ‘Turn it off.’ I literally thought, ‘What the hell did I get myself into?’ I started panicking. But it all worked out. I think they were super respectful, and we’re just chill women trying to do our thing.”

Mel echoed her thoughts, emphasizing how well their relationship was represented on screen.

“We wanted to make sure that it represented our relationship in a good way, and actually, they did us a favor,” she said. “They did us a solid and represented us very, very well. I think it’s pretty accurate.”

With anticipation building for season 16, fans can only speculate about who will stay, who will leave, and what surprises are in store for “The Real Housewives of New York City.”
