Andy Cohen
However, due to the similarities between Jen and Teresa, some fans wonder how they compare. Find out the answers. And check out what it could mean for the future of Shah’s appearance on the Real Housewives franchise below!
Bravo – TV Star Teresa Giudice Contrasts With Jen Shah – Here’s Why!
Andy Cohen struck gold with his Real Housewives franchise on Bravo TV. As a result, producers on the network tend to stay with tried and true formulas for the shows. For instance, reunions feature Cohen questioning the stars about the drama. And so-called lost footage episodes typically highlight the most embarrassing situations of the season.
But for stars who face legal troubles, Bravo tends to play it more carefully. For example, Andy tried to tread lightly when Teresa Giudice ended up in jail. However, producers face more of a challenge with Jen Shah’s guilty plea, noted Cinema Blend.
But several contrasts exist between Jen and Teresa. For instance, Giudice genuinely looked baffled over her own guilty charges. And she seemed believable when she protested she did not understand her fraud counts. However, Teresa accepted a plea deal that turned into less than a year in jail. In contrast, Shah repeatedly insisted she remained innocent. As a result, her sudden switch to pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering shocked the Bravo universe.
Real Housewives – Of Salt Lake City Films Season 3: Where’s Jen Shah?
Because RHOSLC has proved popular, Bravo continues to film season 3. However, Jen’s guilty plea will result in a sentencing scene in November. And experts predict Shah could spend as long as 30 years in prison. As a result, only part of her story can appear on season 3.
But an insider spilled some details. And the source described Shah’s fraud charges as an understandably key part of her plot on the show. However, some fans feel that Bravo TV would stir up controversy by overdoing scenes in which Jen’s co-stars sympathize.
But according to the insider, producers want to continue filming. “Producers don’t want us to stop following it now. They’ll keep filming with her as long as they can, just like they did with Teresa [Giudice],” noted the source. And that could mean featuring Shah’s family and friends rather than Jen if and when she ends up in prison.
