Andy Cohen – Dishes On Real Housewives Rumors
Rumors about Bravo casting Real Housewives Of Las Vegas have caused fans to speculate wildly. And the gossip includes a new show set in New Orleans as well as Scottsdale. Because rumors have soared about new Real Housewives shows, Andy Cohen finally spoke out. And the Bravo TV king made his views clear on expanding Real Housewives cities via People.
Cohen debunked the rumors that Bravo has begun casting the Real Housewives of Las Vegas, Real Housewives of New Orleans and Real Housewives of Scottsdale. And the 54-year-old Bravo TV exec producer shared that “we’re good” in terms of needing to add new cities. But just in case the message didn’t get through, Andy added, “We’re not developing any” new Real Housewives cities.
However, Cohen suspects that the rumors began when news broke about the Bravo convention, known as BravoCon, in Las Vegas. And that started gossip about a Real Housewives Of Las Vegas show. “People are really excited about BravoCon in Vegas,” he noted. As a result, Andy has gotten “so many questions about it. And I just wanna nip something in the bud right now. Because there is a rumor that is building online that I need to address so that we can move on. And I am here to tell you, we are not, no, just we are not” casting Real Housewives Of Las Vegas.
Andy Cohen – Asks Real Housewives Fans To ‘Stand Down’
Because the rumors continued, Andy sought to halt the gossip. And he denied that BravoCon will include an announcement about Real Housewives of Vegas. “We are not announcing a Housewives of Vegas. So just stand down,” Cohen asked the fans. “That’s not happening.”
However, Andy also denied that Bravo has begun casting the Real Housewives of New Orleans and the Real Housewives of Scottsdale. But he explained the reason for the rumor about Real Housewives of New Orleans. And Cohen shared a production company has tried “casting women in New Orleans to see if there was a show to be done in New Orleans.”
“I think they are pitching it to Bravo,” added Andy. And Cohen noted, “This wasn’t Bravo seeking out. A lot of times there will be, a lot of times someone will, people will start DMing me saying, ‘I know you’re doing Scottsdale. I want to be on the casting’, whatever. Sometimes there are production companies that are just fishing around, not even at the behest of Bravo,” cautioned the Real Housewives exec producer. “But just because they are looking for women and they’re gonna bring them to Bravo and try to pitch Bravo on the idea.”
