Bachelor blogger Reality Steve revealed that The Bachelorette could film at a nearby resort for five weeks. That means no hometown dates, no traveling, and no leaving the premises. The hotel will also be closed off to outsiders, which will prevent spoilers from happening. Bachelor Nation wants to know what’s going on with Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette.
Reality Steve dished on the upcoming season on his podcast. The season was postponed due to the coronavirus. In addition, many of the men are said to be recast. According to Reality Steve, the show will be filmed at a resort rather than the Bachelor mansion for five weeks.
“I have learned that ‘The Bachelorette’ is looking to film the entire series in one location,” Steve said on his podcast. “That means all the dates, and the cocktail parties, and rose ceremonies, and the cast, would all live in one resort for the whole time of filming. Zero travel. And I’m talking about, that certainly seems to me, from what I was told, they’re never leaving wherever they’re going. Now, I don’t know the location, because what I’m told is they are out scouting right now for a resort to accept them for five-week filming in July and into August and it would air in September.”
Reality Steve claimed that a “very, very good source” told him that production wants to kick the guests out of the resort. That should be easy since no one is traveling right now. Everyone has been practicing self-isolation and social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. Production wants the cast and crew to have the entire place to themselves. This is for the safety and health of everyone involved with the show. Reality Steve also said that everyone will be tested for coronavirus prior to filming.

“Basically, what I’ve heard is they would get there and everybody would be tested,” Steve continued. “And once everybody passes the test, assuming everybody passes their test since they’re never leaving that area, they don’t have to worry about testing and testing every week or two.”
Steve also confirmed there won’t be any hometown dates. We won’t be able to enjoy spoilers since the set will be closed off to the public for health concerns. Clare Crawley’s season is set to be an interesting one.
