Savannah Chrisley Complains Fans Don’t Understand Her Amid Backlash

Savannah Chrisley – Sparks Backlash Over PDA Pics

Less than two months ago, Savannah Chrisley’s ex Nic Kerdiles died. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum just shocked her followers by posting PDA pics with her new boyfriend Robert Shiver. Because Savannah had posted about mourning her loss of Nic, she sparked a backlash by sharing those loved-up photos with Robert, noted People.

And so the reality TV star defended herself. “I just wanted to hop on here and clear up some misconceptions,” said Savannah in an Instagram Story video. “I posted those photos last night,” she said about the pics with Shiver. 

“But there’s also a lot of comments about Nic and I,” complained the Chrisley Knows Best alum, 26. And she shared, “I just want to say, Nic and I have been broken up for a long time. We got engaged, called off the engagement, tried to date, tried to stay in each other’s lives, and it just didn’t work out.”

But despite her new romance, Savannah insisted that she and Nic “loved each other more than anything in this world.” However, she shared that their relationship “just didn’t work.”

And the Chrisley Knows Best alum discussed the end of her friendship with Nic. “In January, we finally just cold turkey stopped talking in general. So, Nic and I were not together. We had not been together in…two years maybe?” she estimated. 

And Savannah also defended herself against the backlash by claiming that Kerdiles had joined her in moving on and getting involved in other relationships. “We had both moved on. I was happy for him and it’s just part of life. Like I said, I have nothing but love and respect for Nic and his family,” she said.

Kerdiles died at age 29 in late September after a motorcycle accident. And after his death, Savannah wrote on Instagram, “We had some really great, bright moments, and we had some really hard ones. But the part of our relationship I will hold on to will always be the moments in the middle.”

Meanwhile, Savannah has shared her new romance with Shiver, a former football player. And she posted a quote about life. “You deserve to be happy. You deserve to live a life that lights you up. Don’t ever forget that,” she wrote. 

The Chrisley Knows Best took her romance with Shiver to Instagram with the PDA pics. And she wrote, “Sometimes… it just works #THTD.” Shiver, 38, became famous when his wife, Lindsay Shiver, allegedly planned his murder with two co-conspirators.
