Finally, in 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned them and Chrisley Knows Best fans rejoiced. But what they didn’t know back then was that Savannah’s new fiancé and baby daddy was also in prison and later received presidential clemency.

TMZ confirmed that Jason has a criminal record. Per their report on October 27, the outlet wrote:

TMZ has learned her fiancé is Jason Galanis, a former business partner of Hunter Biden whose federal prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump.

Why Was He Inside?

E! News confirmed that Jason “made headlines in 2025 when his 14-year prison sentence for his role in two multimillion-dollar fraud schemes received a presidential pardon.”

He’s 56 years old, and Savannah Chrisley is just 29, but she seems fine with that. They met when he reached out to her after she successfully campaigned for Todd and Julie to be pardoned.
