Savannah Chrisley Reveals ‘Tough’ Challenges, Sympathetic Fans Blame Todd

Savannah Chrisley – Reflects On Tough Times

When Julie and Todd Chrisley received their prison sentences, their daughter Savannah Chrisley received custody of her brother Grayson, 17, and niece Chloe, 10. And now the 26-year-old Chrisley Knows Best alum has shared the challenges of parenting the two, reported TV Insider.

As a participant on Fox‘s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Savannah faced a different set of challenges. And she revealed that she decided to join the competition series for a special reason. The show represents one of the last series that she viewed with her parents prior to Julie and Todd heading to prison.

And Savanah recalled, “My mom watched it. She was like, ‘You could do that’.” However, the Chrisley Knows Best alum admitted that she found it tough to spend time away from Grayson and Chloe.

And the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared, “I have custody of my 10-year-old sister and my 17-year-old brother. It’s tough.” And Savannah admitted that losing contact with her younger brother and niece represented the most challenging part of Fox’s competition series.

In addition to Savannah, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test stars Jack Osbourne and Bode Miller, as well as other celebrities. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum talked with Osbourne and Miller about her challenges. “With all due respect, you don’t know what it feels like to have both your parents in federal prison and having to take custody of a 10-year-old and 17-year-old,” she said. 

And Savannah admitted, “That’s the thing” that makes participating on the show so challenging. “I feel like s**t for not being there,” she added. But then the Chrisley Knows Best alum reflected on what she had learned through caring for her younger brother and niece.

And she shared, “I think just for the first time in my life, I actually love two people more than I love myself.” Savannah shares more about taking on the role of guardian for Grayson and Chloe on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. 

But fans expressed sympathy for Savannah. For instance, one wrote, “I’m sorry her parents did this to her. They put her in this situation and they are the only ones to blame for what she and her family are going through.” And another shared, “You’re a sweetheart, and a strong person. You will be a guiding strength to them both.”
