Savannah Chrisley Tells Fans How Romance With Robert Shiver Really Began

Now Really Began if someone had one of the most unusual romance kickoffs, it’s Savannah Chrisley. And not just because she met her boo over social media – it’s unfortunately become the standard these days – but because of the topic that actually brought them together. Murder, she wrote, right? Anyway, you’ll understand why I used that phrase in a moment or two, if you didn’t already.

Savannah Chrisley – First Reached Out To Robert Shiver Just Because She Wanted To Be “Kind”

Savannah Chrisley is not afraid to let us in on the secrets of her romance with Robert Shiver. Huh, turns out the spark was more or less lit when Shiver went viral for being the target of an alleged murder plot.

The plot kinda deepens when you learn that the hit was allegedly placed on him by his ex – who he shares three children with, mind you – and her boyfriend.

At the height of all this, Shiver unexpectedly received support from a stranger who will in time grow to be his romantic partner.

“I was just on Instagram, and, all of a sudden this message came through. And, I looked at it, and it was from Savannah Chrisley. And I was like, that name sounds really familiar,” recalled Shiver on the Tuesday, Jan 7. edition of the reality TV star’s podcast Unlocked. “So all the message said was like, ‘Hey, I’ll be praying for you’ or something like that.”

Chrisley then explained that she did it at the time because she wanted to be “a kind person.”

While they started dating that same year, Shiver made headlines in July 2023 after the news of the alleged murder plot broke. Shiver had filed for divorce after finding out about his wife’s alleged affair.

Shortly after his filing, Bahamas Court News reported that Shiver’s wife, along with the man she allegedly had an affair with, had planned to kill Shiver with a hitman. The divorce has not been finalized.

At the time, a touched Shiver responded to Chrisley’s thoughtful message with “thanks.” However, shortly after this, they began to earnestly plan a meet up. The first time they met up was when Chrisley traveled to Boston to attend a Morgan Wallen concert.

After meeting at a hotel where Chrisley, 27, lodged with a group of friends, they hit it off so well they moved their plans around to spend more time together.

“And then we proceeded to go to the concert. But what was absolutely insane was we get in the car to go to the concert, and I don’t know why, but we get in the very back,” recalled Chrisley. “And, like, immediately, we were holding hands.”

“Immediately. And then we go to the concert. We were afraid of photos coming out,” she continued. “So we were not — we kept our social distancing until we didn’t.”

Chrisley has since called her romance with Shiver “the most unexpected of gifts.”
