On Saturday, May 17, Savannah Chrisley sat down with Lara Trump on Fox’s My View. During the talk, she mentioned that she intends to continue the fight for justice even if her parents get out of prison. It came after Lara interviewed Alice Johnson, the “Pardon Czar.”
Fighting For Justice
Savannah told Lara that their family wasn’t expecting a prison sentence because “Fulton County” had such “a weak case.” Additionally, it took “nine years” to indict Todd and Julie Chrisley. She also said that their show was just “a scripted comedy.” Savannah might have mentioned that because their clothing purchases on the show were referred to during the trial.

Continuing, Todd’s daughter said that she struggled to get people to take her fight for justice “seriously” because they think of her as a “ditzy blonde.” So, when she heard about Donald Trump struggling for his own justice, she decided to speak out at the RNC.
Taking Up The Cudgels For Others
Her first major address about prison conditions and what she sees as an unfair targeting of her famous parents by “democrats” was the RNC address. Now, she’s moved a lot further along, and she will continue to fight for her mom and dad.
Next, the Chrisley Knows Best alum spoke about fighting for others. She told Lara:
This doesn’t just stop when my parents come home; it’s going to continue on because when you know better, you do better, and now I know too much. I believe that it’s our job to show up for people who can’t show up for themselves.
Savannah Chrisley added, “Why are we wasting taxpayer dollars housing these individuals when they should have been home?” Talking about her lonely fight, she said, “I wish I had someone to fight for me, and I didn’t, and I don’t. I’m fighting for me, and I’m fighting for my family, so I’m gonna help the individuals that can’t fight for themselves.”
What Encouragement Is There For Others?
The My View host asked Savannah Chrisley what encouragement she could give others who want justice for their imprisoned family members.
Savannah replied, saying, “You have to stand firm in what you believe in. It doesn’t matter who you lose along the way because in the end, you will gain, and that’s what I’ve had to remind myself of on the hard days. It’s fine because I know in the end I will win big.”
Are you surprised to hear that the fight will go on even if Todd and Julie are released from prison? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and come back here often for all your Chrisley Knows Best cast news and updates.
