Sister Wives rumors are indicating there may have been a bit of a pay rate discrepancy among the cast while filming Season 18.
Did Christine Brown get a bigger check from TLC than Meri, Janelle, and Robyn? Here’s what we know, and a breakdown of this season’s Brown Family drama.
Christine Brown was the first wife to leave Kody, and she seemed to have been the only one who had time to get her ducks in a row and work out an agreement with him before things went south.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown’s Popularity Skyrocketed
Since leaving Kody Brown, Christine found love again and just married her new man David Woolley in Utah a few months ago.
The Sister Wives star became a household name, acquired a massive fan base on her own, and even outranked Kody himself in Google search results.
Christine Brown definitely has some star power now and months ago rumors began floating around that she had signed with an actual manager and is working on some deals of her own.
Christine never confirmed those rumors, but she did publicly cut ties with the controversial clothing company LulaRoe. And, someone had to handle all the wedding negotiations with TLC. So, it looks like there could be some truth to it.
Christine Brown Gets Bigger Sister Wives Checks?
If Christine Brown brought an actual manager with her to TLC negotiations and put it in the hands of professionals, then it’s very possible she negotiated a higher pay rate than the other wives. But, we will probably never really know the truth.
Technically, Christine is probably getting more money for Season 18 because she filmed her wedding to David Woolley. She can’t get married every season though, so that will most likely be a one time thing.
