Sister Wives: Kody Brown And Ex-Wives Fighting Over Camera Time

Sister Wives star Christine Brown accidentally on purpose confirmed the family is currently filming new episodes of the reality TV show, which will probably not even air on TLC until late 2024.  But, filming now that Kody Brown is no longer married to all of the wives is proving to be difficult.  Keep reading for all the details, and what’s next for Sister Wives.

The Brown Family has been filming Sister Wives episodes for 15 years, but this is the first time they are trying to film episodes since they went their separate ways.  Logistically speaking, filming must be a nightmare.  Kody’s ex wives are spread out over multiple states.  And, we get the idea that they haven’t been spending a whole lot of time with Kody and Robyn since filming Season 18.

According to the social media rumor mill, Kody, Robyn, and the ex-wives have found something new to bicker about, camera time.  And, it all comes down to cold, hard, cash.

Long time Sister Wives viewers know that before the divorces, the Brown Family was paid a lump sum per episode and Kody then divided it up between the households as he saw fit.

Now, we don’t know how much each wife is getting paid per episode, but we do know that they each are getting their own direct payments from TLC.  So, it stands to reason the more they film, the larger their checks would be.

For example, Christine Brown’s new husband David Woolley and their wedding will most likely get more episodes than Kody and Robyn Brown discussing home repairs.

It’s actually not shocking that Kody and Robyn are trying to monopolize camera time and get their kids more involved in filming to drag out footage.

Considering their taxes are past due on Coyote Pass, Kody could even throw in another epilogue on “fighting his demons.”
