Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Complains About Fans
Kody Brown had just begun dating Robyn Brown when Sister Wives premiered in 2010. And when the Sister Wives patriarch made her his fourth wife, his other wives Meri, Christine and Janelle seemed to support that decision, But after 18 seasons, Kody told Us that his relationships feel like a civil war.
And the toll of that war seems clear. Meri, Christine, and Janelle all exited Kody’s plural marriage. And the Sister Wives patriarch finds himself left only with Robyn. But Kody also has discovered that Sister Wives fans inevitably take the side of his ex-wives.
And Kody complained, “It affects me differently than it affects the viewer. Because I’ve got somebody trashing my reputation,” he pointed out. “And I’m going, ‘Holy cow. I can’t believe that’s happening’.” But he feels that the public seems judgmental, “going, ‘Oh, we always thought this about you’.”

However, Kody believes that he will never get “used to that level of criticism. I have to remind myself [that] your opinion of me is none of my business,” he added about Sister Wives viewers who criticize him.
And the Sister Wives patriarch also reflected on how Christine became the first wife to split. The two share six kids. But Kody declared, “I never felt like I had the right to say, ‘Hey, listen, I don’t love this woman,’ [and] want a divorce’.”
Because Kody didn’t view getting divorced as “in my wheelhouse,” he felt that his wives could make their own decisions. “So, Christine made a choice, and that’s kind of where it’s at. She chose to go, and it’s a blessing and a curse. It’s been very, very, very hard. But it was her being brave enough to do it, because I was never going to do that.”
Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Supports Plural Marriage
Christine recently remarried, choosing David Woolley with whom to tie the knot. But Kody revealed that he and Christine “don’t associate almost at all.” And Janelle has sought to move on. But Kody seems uncertain about her exit.
“I can talk to Janelle all the time and say, ‘Hey, what are we going to do? Are we going to reconcile this?’ And she doesn’t sound like she’s interested in reconciliation,” admitted the Sister Wives patriarch. But then he added, “Time changes things. And if you move forward with grace and forgiveness, maybe you’ll find love in the end.”
However, Kody still believes in plural marriage. Even after watching his wives exit, the Sister Wives patriarch sees his goal as an “advocate for plural marriage.” And Kody explained, “I’ve lost my religion, but I am still leaning on and working on and building my faith.”

And Kody revealed, “We have different emotions at different times. I’ll be really honest, that has been hard on our relationship. Divorce changes you. So, there’s a lot going on with me that Robyn has to use a lot of grace and forgiveness for, because I’m not myself. It’s an experience that I did not expect in my life and [it has] shocked me how it’s played out.”
