Sister Wives Star Janelle Brown Role-Plays ‘Counselor Robyn’

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown gave a right royal performance when she role-played Robyn Brown being a lecturer and “counselor” in the family. Actually, TLC fans thought she did a good job with her pained expressions. It came when she talked with Sukanya Krishnan in a teaser for the one-on-one Tell-All.  It’s a good bet that now she left Kody Brown, Janelle and Robyn won’t ever be besties: not that they ever were.

TLC fans grew irritated with Kody’s fourth wife in the past but Season 17 saw that peak. Actually, when Kody threw a tantrum with Janelle, Robyn was the one who kept the tense scene going before Janelle walked out.

Additionally, she constantly cried, or at least pretended to. Never a single tear fell. And if it did, it could be the most earth-shattering event in television history. While she cries about Christine and Janelle leaving, she plays the victim, and many viewers comment on that. 

Sister Wives stars Christine and Janelle Brown don’t have their eyes closed to Robyn’s influence with Kody. In fact, they both mentioned it. Fans are convinced that Robyn always wanted the other wives gone and that she worked hard to make herself the fave. Clearly, Janelle and Christine also recognized that. Well, Janelle grew sick and tired of Ms. Dramatic always trying to point fingers at the rest of the family. And she hates that she’s something of a serial apologist. Actually, she mentioned how Robyn’s not the only one who feels hurt. Her “own boys” were devastated as well.

Since she left Kody Brown, Janelle seems way more on the level about her feelings. In fact, she’s taking off her gloves and calling out Robyn. Kody’s second wife was never all that confrontational.  So, some folks thought that she would just go with the flow to keep everyone happy. However, it’s a good bet that Robyn won’t be happy that she found her voice. 

When Without A Crystal Ball did a vlog about Sister Wives, Katie Joy started with the clip where Janelle talked about “counselor” Robyn. Using dramatic gestures, Janelle said, “I’m so tired of Counselor Robyn.” Using her hands, she put “counselor” inside quotation marks. She gave an example, “Like, oh yeah, your pain, your pain.”

The Sister Wives star pointed out  that Robyn goes on as if “she’s the first person who’s been rejected.” She added, “it feels like she’s got to apologize to us, to me, to her,” noting that it comes across as “placating.” Bear in mind, more than one person got “hurt” during the family bust-up. 

All the time, she used gestures very similar to Robyn’s. Karin Cole commented, “Sobyn is very important in her world. Remember in the beginning where she was “counseling and correcting” the behavior of wives that had been there for 16 years plus when she had never been in a marriage like this.”

Another follower, KMchatz Kendra wrote, “Love it! It’s about time Janelle or anyone calls counselor empath Sobyn out.”

Taking about Janelle role-playing Robyn so well with her facial expressions and hand gestures, another viewer said, “LOL I loved the role-play by Janelle. Actually, I bet she could squeeze a real tear out better than Sobbyn”
