Kody Brown Calls Former Sister Wife Christine A Manipulator

Kody Brown is speaking up about the end of his 26-year marriage with Christine, and no, he has no nice things to say, except to say that she pouts and throws temper tantrums.

In his latest confessional, he revealed that he was previously “ambivalent” about split from Christine, adding, “I was trying to be stoic about it”.

For someone who always said that any of his four wives could leave him whenever they wanted, he sure sounds like he took Christine upping and leaving way too hard. Yes, it’s been 26 years, but he wasn’t exactly the model spirit husband.

Speaking with host Sukanya Krishnan on Sunday’s “Sister Wives: One On One” episode, Kody revealed that it took him a while to accept his split from Christine for what it is.

“Initially, my issue was I thought Christine was playing a game,” he said. “I was ambivalent. I was trying to be stoic about it.”

“She’s a game player. From the time we were married, [it was] manipulation, pouting, temper tantrums, just behavior things,” he said. “Some of the games that were happening were when we moved to Flagstaff, Arizona.”

At this time, Meri, Kody’s first wife, has followed Christine’s lead and split from Kody.

However, to prove to fans that Christine was indeed manipulative, he recalled a time when he and Meri had a fight and Meri got him a peace offering.

“Meri gave me this really cool birthday present and I’m in this place expressing to Janelle, Christine, and Robyn that I might reconcile with Meri,” he explained. “And Christine lost her s— that day.”

“She comes to our family party and leaves yelling to one of the kids that she was in a loveless marriage,” he continued. “This is two years before she kicks me out.”

During the special, Christine Brown revealed that Kody said something so hurtful to her she decided to end their relationship.

“It was terrible to hear. And it’s super embarrassing,” she admitted. “I just got to thinking, you know what? It really just goes both ways.”

“I really just wasn’t attracted — after he said that, I was kind of like, ‘Oh, well, then I’m done. It’s over.’ It was almost a relief,” she continued. “I’m not going to keep fighting for this or trying if you’re not attracted to me. So everything that I’ve done for you and for the family means nothing.”

Christine originally announced their split in November 2021, saying that they’ve grown apart.
