Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Says Kody’s Family Was Always Doomed

Sister Wives stars Janelle and Christine Brown are the gifts that keep on giving.  Kody Brown’s ex-wives are done sugarcoating things for the cameras. 

Now that they are no longer married to the patriarch, Janelle and Christine no longer feel the need to protect him from the media.

Janelle Brown recently sat down with Kody and the rest of the Sister Wives cast for an episode of Sister Wives Look Back’ on TLC. 

One of the topics that came up was where the Brown Family went wrong and why they thought their plural marriages fell apart.  Janelle certainly had an interesting take on the fans’ question.

Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Gets Real

Janelle revealed that Kody Brown’s family was headed for disaster years ago, he just was in denial about the demise.  Janelle added, “part of Kody’s anger stemmed from his dream of a big happy family dissolving.  I think maybe this is where we were headed,” she continued.

“He just didn’t want to admit it because he was starting to say things like, ‘I’m tired of shouldering the work here,’ ‘I’m tired of being the one who carries these relationships.'”

It’s certainly interesting that Janelle is admitting now that their family wasn’t working and was falling apart years ago, but Kody tried to keep it together as long as he could by juggling all of them. 

Ironically, a popular theory among Sister Wives fans for years is that Kody was stringing along his now ex-wives just to keep the family reality show alive on TLC.  Janelle may not realize it, or may realize it, but she basically just confirmed that theory.
