Christine Brown stepped foot on the TLC show when she got involved in a polygamy marriage with her now ex-husband, Kody Brown. Last November 2021, she stated that her relationship with Kody was no longer working, which made her decide to finally call it quits. The mother-of-six then moved from Arizona and spend her time with her children in Utah.

On her social media account, Christine shared a statement regarding their separation. It says: “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.” She ended her post by saying that both she and Kody will make sure to take care of their children and still look after their welfare amidst their divorce.

Christine Brown – Shares Fun Time With Granddaughter

Christine was blessed with a granddaughter when her second-born child, Mykelti, gave birth to a baby girl, whom she shared with her husband, Tony Padron. In one of her recent Instagram posts, the grandmother-of-one posted a photo of herself having a great time with Baby Avalon. She captioned the post: “I practically begged @mykeltip to let me babysit Avalon! She’s absolutely delightful!”

Fans gave Christine some uplifting words in the comment section, appreciating Baby Avalon’s smiling images and how the TLC star spent some quality time with her first grandchild. One fan commented, “She is such a precious little darling little one.” An Instagram user wrote, “Grandkids are such beautiful blessings. She is so cute and growing up so fast.” Another one chimed in, “Avalon is just gorgeous. I’m so glad you are getting to spend time with her.”

Christine Brown – Appears On Television Before ‘Sister Wives’

In other news, before their family has featured on TLC, Christine Brown appeared on television to educate people about polygamy. She even lectured at the University of Utah and shared the story of her family. Though the 50-year-old star has been vocal about her union with Kody, she was the first one to leave as a sister wife.

In one of the episodes of Season 16, Christine mentioned that she doesn’t like to have a loveless marriage, just like Kody and Meri. “My heart breaks when I think about their marriage,” she uttered.
