Southern Charm Star Taylor Ann Green Mourns Brother’s Death At 36

The Southern Charm cast is mourning a loss and gathering to support their co-star Taylor Ann Green. The Southern Charm star’s brother, Richard Worthington Green, died at age 36. And Taylor’s ex boyfriend and Southern Charm co-star Shep Rose shared his thoughts on her loss.

Southern Charm Star Taylor Ann Green’s Brother Dies At 36

Taylor Ann Green has joined her family in mourning the death of her brother Richard Worthington Green. And her sister Catie King shared the news about the passing of the 36-year-old, who they called Worth.

Turning to Instagram, Catie wrote, “You are the best big brother I could have ever asked for. This family will never be the same. I love you to the moon and back.” The post also included photos, noted Page Six.

And in her caption, the Southern Charm star’s sister wrote, “In loving memory Worth Green. You’re always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.” Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Shep Rose added his own comment underneath Catie’s post. And the Southern Charm star wrote, “Absolutely one of a kind. A pleasure to know and to laugh with. ✌️,” he added. 

An obit described Taylor’s brother as a “a beautiful example of how to live life as fully as possible. His personality was vibrant, outgoing, and loving. Worth never knew a stranger.” The obit also revealed that Worth had started a men’s group in North Carolina to “reflect on life and challenge each other’s faith in Christ. He was a vivacious and loving son and grandson, and the best big brother to his sisters, always being there as a protector and a cheerleader.”

Southern Charm Star Mourns Her Brother’s Death

Taylor, 28, and her family issued a statement to People about their loss. And the Southern Charm star joined her family in sharing, “Worth left this world on top of the world. He had a beautiful passion for life and cared deeply for those around him. We are going to miss his jovial personality and all of the love and laughter that he brought his family, girlfriend and countless friends. Heartbroken is an understatement, but we are finding so much peace knowing he is in the arms of our Heavenly Father. We kindly ask for privacy at this time.”

A tribute also offered information about Worth’s relationship with a new girlfriend. “Most recently he met the woman he adored and treasured. Caroline brought so much joy to his life,” revealed the tribute. “He loved her enough to bring her home to his family and was beginning to plan a future with her by his side. Friends too numerous to name will miss the exuberant love for life that Worth brought to them.” The Southern Charm star and her family plan to hold the funeral on Saturday.
