Teddi Mellencamp can’t seem to get a break and now she’s dealing with brain tumor surgery after she underwent surgery to remove skin cancer. From the hospital this week, she shared a reel of her preparations for the invasive procedure. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum alerted her fans about her latest health scare via social media.
The Discovery Of Tumors
On Instagram, Mellencamp posted a text meme, and in it, she explained that she suffered from bad headaches for weeks. However, they became “unbearable and required hospitalization.” Soon, doctors sent her for scans, and she revealed that they “found multiple tumors on my brain.”
The former equestrian was told the tumors had “been growing for at least 6 months.” Quickly, she prepared for surgery because medical professionals were ready to remove “two of the tumors” immediately. She added, “The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”
Preparing for The Surgery
In her message, she talked about her blessings because she’s
“surrounded by…children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.” Plus, she extended her appreciation to everyone who “reached out” in support.

Mellencamp, later filmed herself as her preparation for surgery began. The Bravo alum isn’t holding back on her scary journey and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans saw that she tried to stay calm as her head was shaved.
A Difficult Journey
Mellencamp filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave late last year, and she previously coped with her melanoma surgery. It was RHOBH star Kyle Richards who advised her to get it to get a mole checked out.

Until now, she seemed okay and worked on her Two T’s in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge from The Real Housewives of Orange County. The last time that Bravo fans saw Teddi on reality TV came when she participated in Celebrity Big Brother two and a half years ago. While she didn’t last very long, it was another chapter for her resume.
