Teddi Mellencamp Has More Brain Tumors Than First Thought

Teddi Mellencamp formerly on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, (RHOBH) struggled with melanoma, and in mid-February, doctors found brain tumors. In a social media update on February 26, the Bravo alum revealed that cancer doctors found more tumors than expected.

More Tumors Found During Surgery

When the Bravo alum received her brain cancer diagnosis, she prepared for surgery to remove two tumors. Although more were present, doctors decided they would treat the smaller ones with radiation later. However, in her recent update, she said more were found.

“In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected: 4 in total,” Teddi wrote on a slide that she shared on her Instagram account. Nevertheless, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant feels “grateful for the incredible surgeons, doctors, and nurses who made my surgery and recovery process comfortable.”

Of course, the RHOBH alum has gotten a lot of support from other Real Housewives cast members and fans. So, Teddi added “I just wanted to say thank you everybody for the outpouring of love and prayers. I see them, and they’re definitely helping me stay strong.”

Family Support Is Important

Teddi Mellencamp also mentioned her family. She said, “The laughter, support, and patience of my kids, my family, and my closest friends is one gift with which words cannot properly express my gratitude.” Well, her husband, Edwin Arroyave was there for her during her surgery.

Bravo fans loved that he stepped up for Mellencamp who filed for divorce. Hopefully, he sticks close by for the foreseeable future, as Teddi also wrote, “This fight is not over.” In the comments section, support from many people became obvious as so many well-wishes poured in.

An Outpouring Of Love

During her time on RHOBH, many Bravo fans slapped at Edwin’s wife because they felt she was boring. However, when it comes to health issues, those trolls seem to go very quiet. Perhaps, they contemplate their own mortality. So, only love went Teddi Mellencamp’s way in the comments.

Real Housewives stars Paul Kemsley, Margaret Josephs, and Teresa Giudice responded in the comments. Kyle Richards wrote, “Teddi, I will forever be grateful to RHOBH for bringing you into my life. We will always have each other to lean on during life’s ups and downs. You have SO much love around you to help you get through this ❤️ Love you Teddi Jo!”
