Teddi Mellencamp Is Dating Amid Brain Cancer Struggle

Teddi Mellencamp is dating again, and she’s already had a couple of dates. The news took people aback on social media and fans thought the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was better off focusing on her cancer recovery. 

Two Dates Already

TMZ broke the news, revealing Teddi shared about dating on her “Two Ts in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge.” Admitting that she met the guy before her surgery, it seems that they clicked straight away.

” I went on a first date before the surgery, and then a second date just yesterday,” the RHOBH alum said, adding that he’s “really cute and nice.”

When the news arrived on Instagram on March 23, RHOBH fans had a lot to say. Many were surprised, and some were critical. “Wow, she certainly has her priorities straight,” one person wrote sarcastically.

Another Bravo fan opined, “That chick needs to focus on battling her cancer and spend time with her kids.” Then, someone else wrote, “Wow, Teddi! Her husband was fine.”

Meanwhile, others questioned her focus. “Why is dating during a cancer battle a priority? How about being with your children before a new man?” A follower agreed, saying, “This is crazy to me. Thinking of men while you have so much going on. All unhealthy for her cancer, so sad.”

No Reconciliation With Edwin

When Teddi had brain tumors surgically removed, it was tough on her. But, her ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave, supported her. He shared updates on her condition, including a post about her gratitude for the well-wishes. Additionally, he also shared how much pain she was in. Of course, fans hoped it might spark a reconciliation.

After the surgery, Teddi went home to her kids and friends. Quickly, she got back to her wellness routines and shared her happiness about being back in her own space. At the same time, she also made it clear that she wanted to avoid negativity.

Recently, Teddi found joy in riding her horses again. It seems she’s looking forward to the future, which now includes dating. It’s doubtful, however, that the poor reactions to her dating are likely to stop her from doing exactly what she wants. After all,  Teddi Mellencamp seems determined to find happiness.

An Uncertain Future

The cancer, which spread after her melanoma surgery, also invaded her lungs. At the moment, she goes for radiation treatment and boosts her immunity. But, make no mistake, things seem dire for the equestrian. Perhaps she wants something to look forward to in the future, rather than sinking into a deep depression.
