‘Teen Mom’: Tyler Baltierra’s Sister Amber Charged For Stabbing?

Teen Mom: The Next Chapter revisits the adoption of Carly by Tyler Baltierra and his wife, Catelynn Lowell. Tyler didn’t have an easy life as his dad, an addict, ended up in jail. And this week, the news arrived that his sister, Amber Williams allegedly faces charges for stabbing someone.

The Arrest Was In November Last Year

Austin Mugshots on Facebook posted a shot of Amber in December and the caption said: “AMBER WILLIAMS – 11/29/2024
0402-0 AGG ASSAULT W/DEADLY WEAPON.” New updates by Busted Newspaper revealed she was booked in February, and got a bond set at $5K. 

The Texas Williamson County records showed her charges were “BOND INCREASE/ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJURY FAMILY VIOLENCE.” Clarifying the allegations, TV Shows Ace reported that the person the Teen Mom star’s sister allegedly stabbed was “her husband.” “

Additionally,  the article noted, “It was not the first time Tyler Baltierra’s sister went through this. It also happened back in 2019 and [it] seems she has a pattern of assault.”

Fans Of The TV Stars React

On Reddit, the story soon arrived in one of the rooms, and many Teen Mom fans felt a bit sad for Amber Williams. Apparently, she tried getting her act together at one stage of her life. After sharing the links to the references, the OP wrote:

Since people don’t seem to know, Ty’s sister Amber Baltierra (now Williams) was arrested a few months ago for stabbing her husband in TX…UPDATE: She also got arrested last month for more of the same thing ‘assault causing bodily injury family violence.”

Arrests are not usual for the cast from the MTV show, and Nathan Griffiths saw the inside of a prison cell for allegedly assaulting his sister. In September last year, alum Bariki Lockettsmith tried appealing his bail, after allegedly kidnapping Ashley Jones. Jenelle Evans also ended up in jail in her earlier years. And, all of them got thoroughly bashed by fans. However, they seem sorry for Baltierra’s sister.

The Discussion About Amber

One fan of the MTV show wrote in the replies, “She worked her *ss off to get sober and try to stay sober. I remember that, I hope she’s able to achieve that again somehow for her children.” And, another one also felt bad because Amber didn’t want to end up like her dad.

Another follower asked, “Wait where did it say she stabbed her husband? I just see assault with a deadly weapon.” And, that could be a problem. It’s not known for certain who was allegedly stabbed at this time. Notably, a knife is not the only thing that can be referred to as a “deadly weapon,” either. 

Here are a few other reactions:

• …she was doing good for a hot second but clearly the meth won. Looking rough!
• Not only should Carly be shielded from this crapshoot of a family, but they should have used their money to move far from their family too and raised their three girls completely severed from it all. No Carly talk. No criminal or drug-addicted family members to ever babysit. That’s how you hard break a family cycle.
