Teen Mom Updates: Young & Pregnant Alum Drew Brooks Released

Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant alum, Drew Brooks starred in Season 1 on MTV. Back then, fans saw that he sired a child with Rachel Beaver. For a while, he had doubts that he was actually Hazelee’s dad. By 2020, they had broken up, and possibly Rachel dodged a bullet. In April this year, he landed up arrested and accused of attempted murder. Now, he’s been released and the charges were changed.

When the arrest news arrived, MTV fans were a bit shocked. Crime does happen, and some stars ended up arrested for drugs or moving offenses. Some of them like TLC alum Max Schenzel from Unexpected did time behind bars. But at least he never tried to kill anyone. The fact, that Drew allegedly committed such a serious crime really seemed a bit over-the-top.

Teen Mom fans heard that allegedly, Drew Brooks used a knife in early April during a confrontation. So The Sun reported that he was charged with “attempted homicide and attempted murder.” Actually, if he was found guilty, he could spend time in prison. So, it seemed like such a waste of a young life. However, he’s been released now, and his charges were reduced.

Teen Mom – Charges Reduced After Plea 

According to the outlet in a new exclusive story, Drew Brooks “accepted a plea deal in the case and has been released from jail.” Apparently, the plea meant that the “attempted homicide charge was reduced to reckless aggravated assault.” Since his arrest, he’s been sitting behind bars and is now on “supervised probation.”

If he breaks his conditions in the next two years, he will probably go to at the Department of Corrections in Tennessee. For now, though, the Teen Mom alum’s jail term is on hold. So hopefully, he will behave himself. Like not contacting his victim again. Presumably, if he ends up flashing a knife, it would also be frowned upon.

Teen Mom – Loads Of Witnesses

Teen Mom fans heard that Drew used the knife in a place where a lot of people saw him injure Kodie Mason in his stomach area during an argument. When Kodie arrived at Sweetwater Hospital in Tennessee, he was later taken to another facility. However, he obviously spilled the beans because the police picked Drew up not long after that.
